Geography: Syria is a Middle Eastern republic bordering Iraq,
Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and with coastline to the
Mediterranean. Syria is part of the Levant. The Republic of Hatay
was separated from Syria in 1938. Kurdistan. Greater Kurdistan
include parts of southeastern Turkey (Northern Kurdistan), northern
Syria (Western Kurdistan), northern Iraq (Southern Kurdistan), and
western Iran (Eastern Kurdistan).
