CONTRACTS from the United States Department of Defense

ARCTEC Services, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $39,095,382 fixed-price, incentive-fee contract modification for fiscal year 2003 to manage, operate, maintain and logistically support the Solid State Phase Array Radar System at Cape Cod Air Force Station, Mass.; Beale Air Force Base, Calif.; Thule Air Base, Greenland; Clear Air Station, Alaska; and RAF Fylingdales, United Kingdom. ARCTEC will perform this effort at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska (63%), and at other locations. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2003. Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (F05604-99-C-9004, P00207).
Harris Technical Services Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $29,914,895 contract modification to provide for operations, maintenance, logistics and training support for the Air Force Satellite Control Network weapon system at remote tracking stations around the world, as well as maintenance and logistics support at Global Positioning System ground antennas and monitoring stations, software analysis support for the Global Positioning System, orbital analysis of military satellites in orbit in support of military controllers and security forces at New Boston Air Force Station, N.H. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2003. The 50th Space Wing, Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (FA2550-00-C-0010).
TRW ICBM Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $12,430,143 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for system engineering support for Headquarters Air Force Space Command to include planning, analyses, trade studies, problem resolution and associated systems engineering support tasks necessary to develop, produce, deploy, test and evaluate missile, command, control and communications, basing, reentry and launch vehicle systems and technology. This work will be complete by September 2003. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).
Northrop Grumman Technical Services Inc., Herndon, Va., is being awarded a $6,811,000 fixed-price incentive with award-fee contract modification to provide for operations, maintenance and logistics support of the Ground-Based Electro Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS) at Socorro, N.M.; Diego Garcia; and Maui, Hawaii. Locations of performance are Socorro, N.M., GEODSS Site 1 (28%); and Maui, Hawaii GEODSS Site 3 Kihei Maui, Hawaii (31%). Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2003. The 21st Space Wing is the contracting activity (F05604-96-C-9004, P00057).
