Hardie, James Keir

F. 1856 D. 1915.
Skotsk minearbejder, fagforeningsaktivist, politiker, humanist, kvindesagsforkæmper, socialist og pacifist.
Keir Hardie var modstander af Boerkrigen og første verdenskrig.
Grundlægger Det uafhængige arbejderparti, Independent Labour Party, 1893. Medlem af det britiske underhus 1892-1895 og 1900-1915. The Keir Hardie Society, 2010-., er opkaldt efter ham.
