Egypt Host First Peace Forum

Sudan will participate in the first peacekeeping forum in Africa which will
be hosted by Alexandria, Egypt in the period 23-25 of current May. It is
organized by the Cairo Centre for Training to Settle Disputes and Keep Peace
in Africa in coordination with Al Ahram Centre for Political and Strategic
Studies.
In press statements, Ambassador and Director of Information and General
Diplomacy at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Husham Al Nagib
stated that the Forum sessions will address the African conflicts, the
variable duties of peace keeping forces in the continent, the problems that
face the formation of and management of peacekeeping operations.

Royal Navy to Get New Attack Submarine
The MoD has placed a GBP200 million contract with British industry for the construction of a new nuclear powered attack submarine, to be named HMS Audacious.
