CONTRACTS from the United States Department of Defense
Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Company L.L.C.,
Independence, Mo., was awarded on Feb. 28, 2006, a delivery order
amount of $133,903,888 as part of a $300,450,340 firm-fixed-price
contract for Small Caliber Ammunition Services. Work will be
performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by
Sept. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on
Oct. 5, 2005. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island,
Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).
