CONTRACTS from the United States Department of Defense
Applied Marine Technology Inc.* Virginia Beach, Va. is being awarded a $53,069,451 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-incentive-fee performance-based multiple award type contract for engineering, analytical, technical, and programmatic support services for Global War on Terrorism Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems and projects under a joint effort in support of the U.S. Army Prophet/Cobra Project Office. This one-year contract includes four one-year option periods that, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $271,817,761. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. (40 percent); Charleston, S.C. (20 percent); Tampa, Fla. (5 percent); other CONUS sites (15 percent); and OCONUS sites (20 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a 100 percent small business, set-aside procurement, which was advertised through the Commerce Business Daily's website, FedBizOpps, and the SPAWAR Systems Center e-Commerce website, with three offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-05-D-7862).
Gemini Industries Inc., Billerica, Mass. is being awarded a $50,364,068 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-incentive-fee performance-based multiple award contract for engineering, analytical, technical, and programmatic support services for Global War on Terrorism Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems and projects under a joint effort in support of the U.S. Army Prophet/Cobra Project Office.
