Ulla Røder løsladt mod kaution
Ulla Roder, who was being held on remand at Low Newton Women's Prison for fence-cutting and 'going equipped to cause criminal damage' (disarm Fylingdales) has been released on bail pending trial.

Menwith Hill: plans for Communal Conference Centre: single-storey pitched roofed brick building 47.4m X 9m X c.6m, to include barbeque grill and 45 tables. This further expansion of infrastructure is more evidence of the anticipated growth of the Base. 'Public consultation' period for representations until 7th Feb.

Recent plans: PX Facility (supermarket and restaurant: consent not finalised: Planning Officer says no Environmental Impact Assessment is necessary. Felliscliffe Parish Council has stated: "The Councillors are concerned at the seemingly endless growth and development of this site..." Four Parishes meet on Menwith Hill. The other three, Birstwith, Menwith-with-Darley (Nidderdale) and Fewston-with-Norwood (Washburndale) submitted no objections to the plans. Removal of underground fuel storage tanks and replacement with aboveground: Planning Officer states that they are having consultations. We wrote to Environment Agency and Harold Best MP (Leeds NW) is pursuing enquiry concerning possible contaminatiion of Leeds water supply.
