Den kristne sekt Dukobortserne i Kaukasus, Rusland, protesterer mod
indførelse af almindelig værnepligt ved at
brænde våben. Deres efterfølgende mishandling er
beskrevet af Vlademir Tchertkoff i bogen: “Aandens
Stridsmænd”, Kristiania [Oslo], Edv. Magnussens
forlag. 1897-98. Leo
Tolstoj foreslår i et brev til en svensk
redaktør, ifølge Fredsbladet 1898:2 s. 12, at
de får Nobels fredspris, allerede inden den er stiftet. Den
fik de ikke, men Tolstoj udgiver en roman og samler penge ind,
så 4000 Dukobortsere kan emigrere til Canada, nogle via Cypern.

The Christian sect The Doukhobors or Dukhobors in the Caucasus,
Russia, are protesting against the introduction of general
conscription by burning weapons. Their subsequent mistreatment is
described by Vlademir Tchertkoff in the book: "spiritual warriors",
Christiania [Oslo], Edv. Magnussen publishers. 1897-98. Leo Tolstoy
suggests in a letter to a Swedish editor of the Peace Magazine
1898:2 p 12 that they received the Nobel Peace Prize, even before
it is formed. It was not given, but Tolstoy publishes a novel and
collect money, so the Doukhobors could immigrate to Canada, some
through Cyprus.

La secte chrétienne Les Doukhobors ou dans le Caucase, en
Russie, protestent contre l'introduction de la conscription
générale par les armes brûlantes. Leur mauvais
traitements ultérieure est décrite par Vlademir
Tchertkoff dans le livre: "guerriers spirituels», Christiania
[Oslo], Edv. Éditeurs Magnussen. 1897-98. Léon
Tolstoï suggère dans une lettre à un
éditeur suédois de la Paix Magazine 1898:2 p 12 qui
ont reçu le Nobel de la paix, même avant qu'il ne soit
formé. Il n'a pas été donné, mais
Tolstoï publie un roman et collecter de l'argent, de sorte que

1897-98. Leo Tolstoi schlägt in einem Brief an einen
schwedischen Redakteur des Friedens Magazin 1898:2 S. 12, dass sie
erhielt den Friedensnobelpreis, noch bevor sie gebildet wird. Es
wurde nicht gegeben, aber Tolstoy veröffentlicht einen Roman
und sammeln Geld, so die Doukhobors konnte nach Kanada, einige
durch Zypern einzuwandern.
