US Military Assistance Program

Aktuelt amerikansk militært hjælpeprogram, som under den kolde krig, fra 1957 og fremefter, gav mere end 53 milliarder dollar til opbygning af en lang række landes militær. Ved hjælp af dette program kunne finansministeriet og præsidenten omgå kongressen, når forsvarsministeriet skulle garantere for lån eksempelvis i forbindelse med våbenhandel.
