Catt, Carrie Chapman

☮ Amerikansk kvindesagsforkæmper, pacifist og flygtningeven, før under og efter første verdenskrig. Carrie Chapman Catt var bl. a præsident for Den internationale kvindestemmeretsalliance og medlem af Den internationale Kvindekomité for varig Fred, oprettet i 1915 senere Kvindernes internationale liga for fred og frihed. Desuden var hun medlem af the Women's Peace Party og fra 1933: the Protest Committee of Non-Jewish Women Against the Persecution of Jews in Germany.
