Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp Songbook

27 At the Peace Camp

When you're alone and life is making you lonely,
You can always go to the Peace camp.
When you got worries, all the noise and the hurry
Seems to stop, I know at the Peace camp.
Linger at the Main Gate where the benders are so pretty
When it is time for action we get down to Nitty Gritty
How can you lose?

- Chorus: - Camp fires are much brighter there, oh you can share all your troubles
Express all your cares
At the Peace camp: Where the women's eyes are bright
Peace camp: waiting for you tonight
Peace camp: It's gonna be alright now.

Don't hang around and let your troubles surround you,
You won't be alone at the Peace camp.
Maybe you know some place to go
Where you can snip he fence, near a silo
Listen to the the voices of the women who're blockading.
Before long you'll sining too, your fears will be fading
Together we're strong.
- Chorus: -
